Islington's Business Design Centre (BDC) threw a party to commemorate 25 years in business last night.
The event venue welcomed industry contacts, current and former staff, and friends to join them in the Gallery Hall, which had been decked out especially for the event and featured a video cube supplied by AVC Productions showing images from throughout the venue’s history.
Chairman Jack Morris gave a welcome speech and was followed on stage by CEO Dominic Jones, while guests were given a goodie bag that contained a book charting the venue's history.
Mini portions of fish and chips in newspaper that was dated with the day the venue opened in 1986, burgers, lamb and cheesecakes were circulated by The Good Eating Company, with a cappella act the Swingle Singers providing the entertainment, flash-mobbing guests on their way in.
