On Friday 24th September Islington’s Business Design Centre was the very proud recipient of the prestigious Event “Exhibition Venue of the Year” award for the second year in succession.

These awards are widely viewed as the most significant in the events industry and in the 13 years of the Event Awards it is the first time that a venue has managed to win the award in consecutive years.

Determined not to rest on its laurels after last years success the BDC invested in many ground breaking initiatives, including becoming the UK’s first Carbon Neutral venue. It also attracted a number of exhibitions from its major rivals such as La Dolce Vita, The Bar Show, ARC, The Carbon Show and Bubble London from venues such as the 02 and Excel.

 In receiving this award the BDC would like to thank not only the BDC staff but also our partners; The Good Eating Company, AVC Productions, 24 Seven Cleaning and Granite Consulting.

Most importantly the BDC would like to extend warm thanks to its clients for supporting the venue over the years. The BDC has had the privilege of working with some great clients over the years and the venue has benefited as a result.
