Every event held at the Business Design Centre is guaranteed a level of personal service second to none. Our expert event management skills and personable approach ensure our clients return year after year.
The venue’s high barrel-vaulted ceiling and abundance of natural light make the BDC an ideal venue for exhibitions. We have almost 6,000 square metres of unimpeded, fully carpeted, exhibition space and flexible conference facilities that can be used for extra space or breakout rooms. Every event at the Business Design Centre is allocated its own Project Manager to oversee the event from the first planning stages through to the breakdown.
Mezzanine
This 2000 square metre exhibition floor has a 16.5 metre high barrel-vaulted roof and is column free making it ideal for exhibitions. Organisers take advantage of the natural light, and its central positioning allows for easy access to all of the venue’s additional exhibition & conference areas.
Ground Floor
As you enter the building this 471 square metre area also benefits from natural light, it can be used for additional exhibition space or is also ideal for a registration or reception area.
Gallery Bays
Situated on the Gallery Level around the perimeter of the venue overlooking the Mezzanine and Ground Floor, these 24 bays can be used for additional stand space or catering.
Gallery Hall & Gallery Atrium
This 850 Square metre room situated on the Gallery Level of the venue benefits from natural light and full blackout facilities. It is the perfect environment for an exhibition, large conference or as an additional catering area. The room also benefits from its own registration desk, cloakroom and direct loading facilities. The Hall is overlooked by the Gallery Atrium which can be used as a catering area or for extra exhibition space.
Conference Centre
Ideal for breakout sessions, press and VIP areas, or additional exhibition space. This flexible centre, with moveable acoustic walling can house up to 9 interlinking rooms, or can be opened up to allow 1140 square metres of extra space.
