Silent Gliss opens contemporary, new showroom at the Business Design Centre
7 Apr 2008
The Business Design Centre is delighted to announce the official opening of Silent Gliss’s newly refurbished showroom. The opening, on the 3rd April 2008, was attended by key customers and management of Silent Gliss Ltd., Silent Gliss International Group Headquarters and the BDC.
Silent Gliss is the Business Design Centre’s longest resident, their showroom opened along with the building itself in 1986 and was the ideal first tenant for the BDC. The well respected interior design company reflected perfectly the original concept of the venue which would see exhibitions and design-led showrooms interacting and supporting each other. Since its opening the showroom has had hundreds of visitors passing through its doors.
Silent Gliss chose the BDC for its London base not only because of its proximity to the architectural contingent, but also because of the buildings ongoing dedication to supporting the design industry. The BDC continues to attract and support companies who put product design at the top of their priorities. Such companies include high-profile names such as Dyson, Visplay, Thrislingtons and iGuzzini.
The refurbishment has taken 4 months but has been worth the wait it is now one of the most stylish suites in the BDC. The ambitious plans meant the showroom was taken back to just a shell and completely rebuilt. Now, it boasts a contemporary and bright interior showing a wide range of Silent Gliss products and fabrics for both the retail and contract markets with advice available from their specially trained staff.
The new showroom also offers both relaxed and formal meeting facilities if required. To ensure the best service is offered meetings by appointment are preferred.
