24-hour security

The Business Design Centre and car park are protected by our own security team 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Giving tenants peace of mind that they will never be contacted in the middle of the night in the event of any emergencies.

Visitor reception and concierge services

The visitor reception, located in the main foyer of the Business Design Centre will handle all visitors, clients and guests visiting your Suite. Our highly professional Visitor Reception team will greet, sign-in and direct your visitors to your Suite, they will even notify you that your visitor has arrived. If you prefer, Visitor Reception staff will hold your visitors in reception for you to collect them. We also have a Concierge service for tenants and visitors to the BDC. Based on the hotel concierge concept, Ray Alcock (BDC Concierge) will make theatre, accommodation, transport etc bookings and ensure that your visit to the BDC is made as easy as possible.

On site car parking

Our 237 space car park is located underneath the Hilton Hotel. Tenants receive preferential rates on parking contracts. There is full lift access to every car park floor.

Free conference and meeting rooms

The Centre offers extensive conference facilites ranging in size from small meeting rooms for up to 10 people to an auditorium for 500 people. Conference facilities are available free to tenants when booked within 2 weeks, otherwise a 25% discount from tariff applies. For more information see: Conferences

The Food Cafe on the Gallery Level is run by The Good Eating Company and has a daily breakfast and lunch menu. Using the freshest ingredients, the Food Cafe will cater for the various staff, visitors and clients at the venue delivering high quality, imaginative food and exceptional service. The building is fully enabled for access by persons with disability. We have lifts to all floors and disabled toilet facilities on all levels.

Most of the Business Design Centre is covered by our CCTV system for your security.

On-site management and facilities teams

BDC showrooms staff are permanently based at the centre to assist with all aspects of your Tenancy. We also have our own facilities team who can look after maintenance and improvements to your suite.

Goods and Passenger lifts

There is a passenger lift to all levels in the main foyer and two goods lifts from the Loading Bay to all levels for deliveries.

Independent and fully supported telecomms system with excellent rates for Tenants

The BDC has it own independent telecomms system, supported by a Mittel Switch. Our dedicated telecomms engineers can install telecomms systems and cabling to your specification in any area of the building. Similarly, since our engineers are based on site, the typical call out time to faults is minimal. Our telephone tariff for tenants is very reasonable, since we have such a large volume of calls.

There is a kitchenette on every level of the building for tenants to fill kettles, wash-up etc.

Loading bay

Our loading bay on Liverpool Road will accept all deliveries for Tenants between 8am and 6pm daily

The BDC provides broadband services ranging from 256Kbp/s to 2Mbp/s and beyond. Our service is designed to cater for anything from occasional web browsing to heavier users in larger companies.

Networking events

The BDC organises a number of events for tenants including drinks receptions during exhibition preview evenings, networking evenings, showroom / product launches, day trip to Royal Ascot, 5-a-side football tournament, Quiz Night and Christmas Party. The events are usually subsidised and offer the opportunity to make new contacts.
