Country Living Spring Fair 2016
With the recent inclement weather, spring seems like it couldn’t possibly be any further away. Whether the flowers are out or not though, we will be revelling in the joys of spring at the first Country Living Fair of 2016!
From the 16th-20th March, Country Living Magazine will be brought to life throughout the venue by the renowned Spring Fair.
You can kick start the day off by visiting the CL theatre which allows visitors to listen to panel discussions and tips from individuals involved with the magazine. The fair will also feature a pop up market on Wednesday 16th March in the Gallery Hall. The market will feature designers and artists who are keen craft makers showcasing their work. Running alongside this are the Craft and Create rooms where you can get involved through drawing, making and sewing. There will be a detailed programme taking place in two rooms over the five days. Remember to pick up your complimentary token from the ticket desk near the Craft and Create Room in order to guarantee your entry.
After creating your master piece, you can then visit the Country Living Garden (designed by Lucy Summers). Lucy has created a colourful and engaging garden based on her inspirations of glamping. Talks and demos will be taking place in the garden covering topics such as bee keeping and learning how to grow your own lettuce. Make sure you take a look at the Garden Talk Timetable to plan your day around this activity.
Also taking place on Wednesday 16th March is the Business Zone. This is a great opportunity for entrepreneurs to discuss their passion and talent for craft making and how to turn this into a business venture. The talks will provide tips on how to turn your talent into a business, there will also be Q&A’s for you to take advantage of. Finally, after a busy day of shopping and craft making, visitors can unwind and relax in the Champagne Bar up in the Gallery Hall. You can buy your ticket for Country Living Spring online now.
