Coming up in March at the BDC
With the festive season a distant memory and thoughts turning to holidays and sun, one might even think Spring was upon us (if not for the rain). Thankfully here at the BDC we have got Spring just around the corner, with a variety of events to accompany it.
TNT Travel Show returns at the beginning of March where you can plan your travels to your hearts content and you can do it all for FREE. Yes, that’s right! Come and have a look round, speak to the experts and attend seminars offering insider information on the latest must-visit destinations. Whether you want to get away in the UK and Europe or would like to travel off-the-beaten-track to destinations in Eastern Europe, Africa, America, South America, Asia and Australasia this show has it all. There are exclusive offers you won’t find anywhere else with up to 50% off some operators and did we mention it’s free?! You can Fast Track for just £2.50 or get the VIP treatment for only £15.00.
Following on from this one stop shop of journey planning is Retail Connections which is now in its fifth year with us at the BDC. This event which focuses on shopping centre leasing by the pan-European members of the ICSC Leasing Group takes place on March 4th. Unique to Europe it allows agents, retailers, shopping centre owners and developers to come together to explore new opportunities.
Cosmetics News Expo holds its exhibition and conference with us on March 8th and 9th. Attended by health professional ranging from cosmetic doctors and dentists to aestheticians and practice managers along with many other medical specialities the event is a great showcase for the industry. The weekend brings together manufacturers and their latest products, services and technologies to the aesthetics trade. The Aesthetic Conference which runs alongside the main expo provides a packed schedule of speaker sessions on a variety of topics including the most cutting edge technologies in the field.
Moving through March takes us from aesthetics to oil and gas. The APPEX Global conference and exhibition has taken a leap this year, moving from our conference centre the main hall’s Mezzanine Level. Their exhibition has grown giving visitors the opportunity to network wider than ever before and brings together managers and developers from around the world to meet major global decision makers in the field. We hope that returning delegates will enjoy the atmosphere that the new area of the venue they call home has to offer.
Running alongside AAPG in our calendar is the third annual IP Protect Expo. The event has grown into a great networking opportunity for those working in intellectual property along with some major global brands. Experts in IP, brand protection and anti-counterfeiting meet across two days of interaction and seminars to learn the best ways to protect their most valuable assets.
The Country Living Fair finally arrives with us in the third week of March and brings with it the Spring fever! With a host of new features for the 2014 event, the Fair is so much more than just shopping. New additions this year include a second craft workshop room or for those more experienced crafters there’s now a series of enhanced workshops. Tickle those taste buds with a Green & Black's Chocolate Tasting Experience or sample the finest English brew in the Whittard Tea Room before dropping by the Kitchen Table Talent sessions for practical advice and tips to help you start your own business. Check out their site for more information on this and more on their brand new show offers card!
Also now in its 3rd year the newly re-branded Think Cloud for Government returns to the conference centre to showcase the newest cloud technology from across the industry. With speakers delivering a wide programme of talks based around cloud solutions, IT strategy and public sector options to name a few; the conference proves to be a leader in this ever developing field. Make sure to register online to attend.
Finally, wrapping up a busy March we welcome Commissioning Live. This free to attend event aimed at commissioners and healthcare professionals brings together over 700 delegates to look at the real issues being faced along with what can be expected from the future of clinical commissioning. Their conference programme is now confirmed and available online.
