Coming Up in June at the BDC!
June is an exciting month for us here at the BDC as we will be hosting the first ever AEV Conference! Find out more details about this and the rest of our fabulous events…
We welcome delegates to the venue for the AEV Conference taking place on the 2nd June. The conference will feature a desirable programme for all event venue teams to gain knowledge of how to manage a perfect event. The conference offers a programme filled with content designed for delivering a world class event.
Next on the agenda we have the Toy Soldier Show! This trade show is a great opportunity for collectors to view different products that are available, such as tools, paints and cabinets. Following this event will be the London Plastic Model Show opening on the 6th. There will be a variety of exhibitors for you to network with before purchasing your favourite military models. We will then be hosting the ‘Change the Game’ Conference which focuses on the technology industry. Visitors will be able to take advantage of the digital advice on offer and how to capitalise on this in the industry. Taking place on the 7th, this conference offers an extensive programme featuring several speakers from the industry.
We then move onto Devoxx UK which will be taking place from the 8th-10th. This three day exhibition and conference focuses on Java, Web, Mobile and JVM languages. This year’s agenda is packed with workshops and seminars for you to enjoy. Days one and two are based on conference sessions which are running across five spaces in the Conference Centre. The final day will focus on workshops where attendees can liaise with trainers and gain a new insight into technology.
On the 9th and 10th we will also be welcoming the Media Production Show to open its doors for the first time at the BDC! The exhibitor list is filled with leading companies from the industry such as Panasonic Business, Liverpool Film Office and Sky. Next to visit the BDC is Exclusively Housewares & Exclusively Electrical 2016 on the 14th & 15th! This annual trade show is a familiar favourite at the BDC and brings together over 120 top exhibitors from the industry. For the second year running, Exclusively Electrical will be running alongside Exclusively Housewares, and visitors can freely explore both elements of the show. It is that time again to welcome back Bubble London to the venue! For the second time this year, Bubble London will be hosting their premium children’s trade show on the Mezzanine across the 19th & 20th. This event is perfect for visitors to browse the latest kids clothing and accessories as well as gifts and homeware brands. Make sure you apply for a ticket online before visiting.
The BDC will then be hosting the Cruise Job Fair on the 24th June in the Gallery Hall. If you have a passion for the cruise industry then look no further as this event is perfect for you! With several cruise line representatives coming together to fill you with knowledge and skills you definitely not want to miss out. Make sure you bring along your most up to date CV to hand out at the event and get top tips from the marine training schools. Make sure you get your complimentary ticket online before heading down to the venue.
Last but not least we will be hosting New Designers 2016 Part 1 from the 29th to the 2nd July. This event brings together the UK’s leading art and design graduates who will be showcasing their best pieces for you to purchase. The event will be kicking off with the VIP & Press Preview from 3pm to 6.30pm on the 29th along with the Awards evening from 6.30pm to 9pm. Various tickets for this show can be purchased online now.
