Coming Up in September at the BDC!
September is a non-stop month here at the BDC and is kick-started with the RCN Jobs Fair held between the 1st -2nd. This is an amazing opportunity for nurses to network with over 50 recruiters from the healthcare industry. The RCN team are giving you the chance to free seminars to learn about revalidation, new to this year. As this event is on a first come first served basis, with complimentary entry – ensure a place by registering now!
The most diverse and creative fashion show in the UK, London Edge, is returning to the BDC this year on the 4th-6th of September. An amazing opportunity to view new and established fashion brands, such as Lady Jane Vintage and Fein Und Ripp. Showcasing authentic lifestyle collections and cutting edge independent fashion labels, it is the must see fashion show of the year for buyers.
In-house Recruitment Live is with us for their first ever show, on the 7th, in the Gallery Hall. With 40 exhibitors and 28 speakers it is an unmissable chance to network with up to 1000 in-house recruitment and talent acquisition professionals. Along with 10 master classes giving you amazing advice, it’s a great opportunity to network and build on your in-house recruitment knowledge.
On the 8th-9th the Aviation Festival will be at the BDC. The festival is where the global aviation industry ties together, joining Global airline and airport CEOs. This year the festival is giving the opportunity to learn and discover innovative tech that can help save money, time and provide a better passenger experience. Speakers include Sir Tim Clark and Ms Carolyn McCall, as well as many more.
Find out how investing really works when Shares LIVE is at the BDC for one day only, on September 10th. Learn how to gain an active role in managing your money along with the chance to connect with top experts who are willing to share their extensive knowledge of investing, trading and saving.
Straight after the weekend Europe’s Customer Festival is back on the 13th & 14th. A complete overview covering the whole customer journey from start to finish, with extraordinary people sharing ideas, thoughts and dreams, which you can challenge, become a part of and engage with – this is a great chance to make connections that will help shape the future of your customer’s experience.
Taking place between the 14th and 17th we have Stampex celebrating its 60th anniversary here at the BDC. Among the highlights of the show, there will be a children’s zone from Stamp Active Network and over 100 exhibitors showcasing their vast collections – a stamp extravaganza!
Next on the agenda at the BDC is the Nature Job Career Expo on the 16th returning for its 10th year. Explore the many carer options available in life and physical sciences and medicine. This year there is a chance to meet over 50 employers face-to-face and learn how to enhance your employability. As the event is complimentary entry make sure you sign up to secure a ticket!
From the 27th to 28th we welcome back Community Care Live, the largest free to attend social care event. The event will feature popular innovations from the 2015 events such as the mock court and extended training session. With over 50 exhibiting organisations from local authorities, service providers and charities it is a great way to develop and extend your knowledge and network.
For the third year the Islington Sixth Form Consortium (IC6), will be holding their annual open evening here at the BDC on September 28th. Open to all prospective IC6 students and their parents and guardians, it is a great opportunity to talk to staff and students about the numerous courses one of the most successful Sixth Form consortiums across London offers.
Last, but not least, is the visually spectacular Brides the Show takes us into next month from the September 30th to October 2nd. From flowers to dresses, this event is a must for brides to be, with every single element of their special day catered to. Features such as the VIP Room, the Imagination Room and the beautiful bridal catwalk shows are unmissable for you to plan the perfect day.
