Coming up in October!
October is one of the BDC’s busiest months and what better way to kick it off than with Brides the Show! Taking place from the 30th September to the 2nd October, guests will get the chance to experience professional makeup classes, meet some of our favourite florists and cake makers, along with attending the renowned catwalks. Closely following Brides is Student World Fair which takes place on the 1st October! Student World aims to help numerous students by showing them the opportunities available to them across the globe. The students will get the opportunity to speak to Universities, collages, language schools and many other types of institutions.
The 7th of October brings us to TES SEN Show 2016. This show brings together teachers, support staff, parents and carers and lets them come together to discuss the skills and training needed to help students with SEN achieve their full potential. Seminars will also be taking place and will be lead by individuals such as Natalie Packer, an independent education consultant and Fin O’Regan, behaviour and learning consultant.
JAX’s London is coming to the BDC on the 10th October for a four day conference to target software engineers and enterprise level professionals. The conferences will include discussions on ‘Developing Micro-services’ and ‘Google Cloud Dataflow’. Tickets are available now!
The long awaited Stylist Live is returning to the BDC on the 13th October and we cannot wait. Stylist magazine will be coming alive with over 150 talks, workshops, pampering sessions and many more. Along with all of this, guests will get the chance to experience different delicious street foods and cocktails. Head online for more information on the event and to book your tickets.
Next on the agenda is Digital Insurance World on the 18th October- inspiring digital collaboration, dissecting data and nurturing innovation to transform the insurance industry. This event provides it guests with the opportunity to join forces with a large range of digital pioneers, technology evangelists and business leaders.
The HR Innovation and Strategy Challenger Meeting is being held at the BDC on the 19th October. This HR based event gathers senior and board level HR directors to discuss a number of topics. These include ‘Reimagining the Workplace’ and ‘Rethinking Your People’.
Next up is BMJ Careers Fair on the 21st of October. This two day event is the UK’S most comprehensive medical careers event with over 2,300 attendees per year! Over the two days, guests will have the opportunity to get advice on CV writing, interview skills and career planning. Along with this there are over 80 exhibition stands to visit and receive advice.
UK Passivhaus Conference and Expo is taking place at the BDC on the 25th October. Our international keynote speaker will describe Heidelberg Bahnstadt, the largest Passivhaus community in the world with just under 2,000 Passivhaus apartments and all non-domestic buildings built to Passivhaus.
As we approach the end of the month we welcome Digital Construction Week that is a two day event from 26th October. This event will once again explore the impact of technology and innovation in the built environment, welcoming thousands of the most influential thought leaders and decision makers. Finally, the end of October brings us to our final event which is TNT/STA Travel Show on the 29th October. This show attracts thousands of guests who are eager to plan and book their travels.
