Coming up in May at the BDC
As Easter has come to an end and we are now looking forward to the May bank holiday, the BDC has a busy schedule ahead filled with conference and exhibitions for you to attend.
We begin the month with the First Time Buyer Home Show. Now in its fifth year, this exhibition is perfect for all first time buyers out there, where every query and question you have can be answered by leading experts. The exhibitor list includes property managers, solicitors, financial managers and several others that are willing to help and guide you through your first buying experience. As well as the exhibition which is being held in the Gallery Hall, there will also be several presentations throughout the day for you to attend. The event will be held on the 10th May and is completely free; all you have to do is fill in a quick form to register or you can even turn up on the day. You definitely have no excuse!
Next in the diary we have Progressive Greetings Live 2014 taking place on 13th to 14th May across the Mezzanine and Conference Centre. Progressive Greetings is the only trade exhibition in the UK that is based in the greeting card industry. This is the shows sixth successful year where a variety of greeting cards, stationery and books are exhibited. The exhibition plays host to a variety of large and small international distributors - increasing visitor numbers year by year and the show will be jam packed with new ideas and products for you to try out. All you have to do is register online to guarantee your entry!
We then move on to hosting the London Totally Expat Show which will be taking place on the 19th May. The London Totally Expat Show, now in its fifth year, brings together a diverse range of global mobility professionals at a one day conference and exhibition designed for networking. There will be several speaker sessions held throughout the day providing practical knowledge related to issues in global mobility. There will be over 70 exhibitors on the day that will be available to show you the latest techniques and technologies used to improve your management of expatriates.
After the Totally Expat Show we have the Afro Hair and Beauty Show which will be happening on the 25th and 26th May. This event plays host to several award winning professional hairstylists and make-up artists who will be ready to give you advice and inspire your cutting edge look. There will also be a chance for you to experience other treatments such as eyebrow threading, eyelash extensions and henna tattoos amongst others. Throughout the day there will be stage shows featuring fabulous fashion collections produced by up and coming fashion designers. There will also be a variety of seminars and workshops for you to attend related to the health and beauty industry.
Last but not least in the month of May we have GEO Business which is being held on the 28th to the 29th May. This is a new geospatial event which is aimed at individuals who are involved in the process of delivering geospatial information. The event is aimed to attract over 80 of the world’s leading suppliers of geospatial providers, giving you a great networking opportunity. The conference which will take place over two days, will discuss research and commercial developments, as well as giving delegates the chance to interact face to face with manufacturers and service providers in the workshops and seminars.
