Coming up in September at the BDC...
After holidays, sun and a jammed packed summer, here at the BDC we are going to be just as busy with some exciting new events for you to enjoy in September. To start off we are pleased to welcome back our good friends, Nursing in Practice, on the 2nd, and the RCN Bulletin Jobs Fair’ which is from the 4th-6th. Next in the calendar the BDC is excited to welcome returning guests; London Edge. Running from the 7th to the 9th the show brings new fashion and individuality. Come and check out their quirky, unique fashion exhibits, whether it’s those new killer heels you have been dying to buy or a funky necklace, it’s going to be an exhibition of originality.
We also welcome back Customer Festival to the BDC on 9th & 10th September, Customer Festival brings together businesses that interact with their customers in a multitude of ways and helps to understand customer experience and retention. Breakout sessions include Omni-channel discussions and exhibition space gives delegates a fantastic opportunity to engage with speakers and network with fellow delegates during breaks and the evening Customer Party.
If you’re either a private investor or it’s just a hobby The London Stock Market Show is the perfect opportunity to hear about the industry from some of the biggest investment professionals. It brings together huge corporate investors through to AIM Company Nomads and also personal investment services. The Stock Market Show will show be at the BDC on Saturday 13th September.
If books are your business, why not visit the BDC on Sunday 14th September and take a look at the Book Fair and discover some new writers and films. This trade only show which began in 1993 and has been an annual event here at the BDC since 2001!
After The Book Fair we are having something a little different… Our next big show is another new one at the BDC; Low Cost Airlines. Open from the 16th-17th and run by Terrapinn, World Low Cost Airlines Congress welcomes leaders to discuss the key issues facing the industry. This is the perfect chance to find out more about the next generation of travellers.
Next up, we’ve got Stampex from the 17th- 20th, so come and explore the world of stamps. Stampex have been exhibiting their work for over 25 years at the BDC and they are back again to bring their range of special and unique stamps together under one roof. If you’re into Stamps, this is the place to be, with thousands upon thousands of incredibly intricate artefacts, explore over 1200 exhibitors, ready to bring something for every type of collector.
For everyone in the field of Life science, Physical science and Medicine why not come visit the UK’s largest careers expo Nature Jobs on 19th September. This is a great opportunity to speak to a wide variety of employers from academic institutes to pharmaceutical companies and publishers. It is a great chance to meet employers face-to-face, there is also the opportunity to have CV’s checked by employment specialists and to network with other delegates throughout the day.
After this already busy month, we bring back trade exhibition Lunch! 2013 attracted almost 6000 quality food, drink, equipment, packaging & technology buyers from the leading food-to-go chains, supermarkets, contract caterers and quality independents from across the UK and overseas. This is trade only show runs on the 23rd and the 24th.
To round off our packed September, we have got Packaging Innovations London on the 30th - 1st October. This is one UK event where you can be certain to source the newest ideas in sustainability, design, luxury materials, print and branding of packaging. The two-day event will enable buyers to discover new ways to improve the appearance of their products, reduce its environmental impact or simply find the next iconic packaging!
