Coming up in February at the BDC
Yes, we can’t believe it either! January is over… There’s no time to relax though as February is already knocking on the doors of the BDC!
The Shares and Cenkos Innovators and Investors forum is one of the first conferences to return in 2015 which is a combined event, showcasing some of the biggest technology firms to the investment community giving innovators the chance to peruse potential investment opportunities. Alongside the exhibition is an extensive conference programme including key note speakers, company presentations and the chance to discuss topics and network with exhibitors.
Bubble Kids is opening the first weekend of February with around 280 exhibitors displaying children’s fashion, gifts and homeware. Bubble gives retailers the chance to discover some of the top brands from around the world. According to the trade show 85% place orders as a result of visiting the show. Not only does Bubble offer the chance to meet with exhibitors but also to listen to some enlightening key speakers including 10 year old founder of Not Before Tea Henry Patterson. It gives brands the best possible exposure as they are showcased to some of the industry’s biggest retailers.
Nursery World Show is also returning to the BDC in February, bringing together delegates from the early year’s community. Nursery World consists of both seminars and masterclasses along with an exhibition full of suppliers, advisers, resources and services. The conference programme consists of a number of lectures and seminars including learning about the emotional and learning needs of a two year old through to the ways of home learning, this event really does cater for all areas of Nursery care. There are a number of conference sessions to be booked but also the free workshop theatre which is open to all delegates to come along and collect some valuable tips.
The week after Surface Design Show is back! It’s the must attend event for architects, interior designers and lighting designers. With an extensive list of more than 120 exhibitors over the 2 days all showcasing a range of materials such as wood, tiles, metals, recyclables and paints alongside 30 presentations and seminar sessions. The Surface Design Show is also hosting the Surface Design Award with 181 entries in 11 different categories. The awards will be presented at lunch time on the 12th February followed in the evening with an after show party.
Thinking of skipping the country? Down Under Live & Canada Live offers visitor’s the chance to get their questions answered about emigrating overseas. Down under is the UK’s largest event for working overseas offering visitors all the invaluable help and advice from exhibitors and other specialists. It’s ideal for all types of visitors whether you are looking for an internship or skilled and trade jobs. There is an extensive list of seminars throughout the event explaining all areas from emigration to the cost of living, house prices and visas to how to actually transport your treasured belongings. The guides and speakers also offer the help of the key places to look for specific types of work. This isn’t just about moving away to find a career but also to find work abroad for a holiday and gain that valuable experience that you want.
Chase 2015 is another longstanding event returning to the BDC. It’s the charities and associations event offering all delegates the valuable resources for all charity and membership organisations in a wide range of seminars alongside the exhibition. Chase offers key information about a number of areas in charities and associations from event management, the impact of technology, fundraising and the legal aspects.
Over three days at the end of the month, Evidence EU is helping delegates to understand and demonstrate the drug value and how they improve patient care through real world evidence. 2015 will be the 3rd year of the show and its offering the chance to hear from some of the most well-known organisations including leaders of the NHS, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer. The conference is also supported by the exhibition which gives delegates the opportunity to discuss with providers of technologies and discover some of the latest solutions. The first evening of the conference is also followed by the evening drinks reception, an excellent chance to network and connect with both new and existing relationships.
Finally for February, Diversified Communications are returning to the BDC with their award winning show Casual Dining. From 25th-26th February the show is giving the decision makers from pubs, bars, restaurants and caterers the chance to meet with around 200 food, drink and equipment suppliers. Casual Dining also brings a vast theatre programme with the chance to hear from leading industry figures and some of their thoughts on industry report findings.
