People of the Business Design Centre hold a passion for great food. The location of the venue both locally in Islington and in its close proximity to Central London allows easy access to an abundance of fantastic restaurants. For conferences and exhibitions at the centre, visitors don’t need to look much further than our very own FOOD; the restaurant run onsite by our catering team The Good Eating Company.

For over ten years we have been working closely with The Good Eating Company to develop delegate catering options that are both innovative and tasty and that provide the energy to take them from breakfast through to post event drinks. We know it’s probably one of the hardest areas to get right for everyone, but based on site they offer a great service to clients and address each show individually which regular feedback confirms.

“There were lots of compliments about the food, which was delicious” comments organiser of the SOCITM conference held in December. “This is often an area that comes in for criticism but not only did we not have any complaints we actually had positive feedback for the first time that I can remember.”

With their chefs and managers exclusively running the kitchen, they can address organiser’s requests immediately. Event Manager for October’s Health Conference remarks “I don’t think there is another catering outfit that would have been able to deliver such an outstanding service. They also look after the organiser so well.”

New menus for events in 2014 include Grilled Chicken Fillet with Roasted Butternut Squash, Cannellini Beans & Chorizo served with Garganelli Pasta, for the veggies Paneer and Roasted Aubergine Curry with Lemon and Coriander Rice and believe us when we say the Chocolate and Toffee Brownie with Hot Chocolate Sauce is mouth-watering! The delegate packages can also provide ‘brain food’ for the afternoon slump, Illy barista coffees made to order on your exhibition floor and custom made canapés for the post conference drinks reception.

General Manager Liam Keating explains, “The new menus offer a broad range of options to cater for all tastes and budgets. We are always keen to work closely with event organisers as we believe getting the food right is key whatever the event.”
