Coming up this June at the BDC
First up, Progressive Greetings opens this week and will be celebrating it's 7th year of PG Live here at the BDC. This international greeting card trade show is the hub for all publishers, agents, designers and artists to meet with potential business contacts for the future. This two day event is the perfect opportunity for visitors to see both the existing talent but also the new up and coming artists in the Springboard section of the exhibition!
London Toy Soldier Show arrives on June 6th which will be their second of 2015 and it won’t be the last! Europe’s largest model toy soldier show is returning once again to the BDC with their must attend event for all traders, collectors and painters who can admire the extensive collections from major manufacturers all the way through to smaller cottage industries.
Exclusively Housewares is the perfect opportunity for key buyers from all sectors of the housewares and tabletop market to browse the lastest products and innovations. Even though it’s still early in the year and we are all waiting for summer to arrive this event is also the perfect opportunity for buyer to get products ready for the Christmas rush! The team at Exclusively housewares have been busy in highlighting the perfect chances to enjoy some of the seasonal offers with the Christmas offer trail.
Haymarket Conferences are next in the calendar bringing MIMS Clinical Update Conference back to the BDC for another fantastic event. MIMS conference sees around 600 delegates each year all discussing very recent topics that GP’s are seeing every day. The day conference consists of four main streams ranging from women’s health, diabetes and the symptoms to dermatology.
Later in June, Get Energy Global will be returning once more with their 2 day conference and exhibition showcasing higher education, training and workforce development programmes available in 45 countries. Throughout the event there are many opportunities for delegates to participate in discussions on how critical training is the industry but also on how the industry affects citizens of the countries that they work within. Over the 2 days Get Energy will see around 500 attendees with 120 exhibitors and 70 workshop sessions taking place - it is set to be a busy two days!
For all that are interested in working on the oceans of the world then the Cruise Jobs Fair is the event that you will want to attend. With around 45 exhibitors from a wide range of companies there are plenty of chances to discuss the opportunities that could be available to you. Also with a long list of seminars available it will prepare all visitors for interviews, how to acquire certificates, what life is like living on the sea and some key note speakers from Disney and Viking cruises.
Our last conference of the month, Devoxx is the London edition of the series which spans five countries - home to around 10,000 Java, Web, Mobile and JVM developers. The programme for this three day spectacular has an extensive list of workshops, discussions and seminars to get involved with through the day and into the evenings. There are also plenty of prizes to be won! The Devoxx team are always creative, and with this year’s theme being the League of Extraordinary Developers they won't fail to entertain delegates.
It also coming to that time of year once again! Upper Street Events are returning to the BDC with their two weeks of interesting and unique work created by university graduates. This year will be bigger than ever as they are celebrating 30 years. It is going to be a special event for all!
