The Alzheimer’s Show

The Alzheimer’s Show is the UK’s leading event for healthcare professionals, families, carers and those living with Alzheimer’s, dementia or memory loss. Since launching in 2013, thousands of professional and public visitors have come along to find practical advice, resources, help and information as well as the latest and best products and services.

The show features a full conference programme across three theatres with talks from leading experts, professionals, family carers and people living with dementia alongside activity workshops, professional advice clinics and leading dementia and care exhibitors.

Held at The Business Design Centre London on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th March, the doors open at 9.30am each day and close at 5.00pm on Friday and 4.00pm on Saturday. One-day tickets are £19.50 online, £27 on the door.

NEW for 2022
Full Virtual Dementia Tour & Training Experience – Training2Care: As well as free ‘taster’ sessions, for the first time at any event, visitors will be able to participate in the complete training – an 8 minute immersive experience followed by 75 minute de-brief – a ‘must do’ experience for anyone involved in caring for people with dementia.

Dementia Matters Theatre: The main 170 seat theatre hosts keynote speakers covering a range of topics as well as chaired daily Question Time panel sessions. Speakers confirmed to date include Alison Murray, Head of Inspection CQC, Jackie Pool, Dementia Care Champion at QCS and Kate Lee, CEO Alzheimer’s Society. Peter Berry, will be sharing his personal story and experiences of living with dementia. Topics include dementia research, coping with challenging behaviour, top tips for communicating with a person with dementia and end of life care.

Talks Hub 1: A unique platform for family carers to give a personal perspective into caring for a loved one with dementia as well as tips and advice. There will also be a range of practical talks covering daily life with dementia from professionals. The talks will address issues such as The Mental Capacity Act, medication, speech & language and new innovations in dementia.

Talks Hub 2: Hear more from leading organisations on the latest resources, products and services to help those with dementia.

Admiral Nurses & Alzheimer’s Society Advice Clinics: Free 25 minute 1-2-1 appointments.

Leading Dementia & Care Exhibitors: Practical ideas, new solutions and resources from dementia and care specialists.
