Every March, B Corp Month shines a spotlight on businesses that are redefining success by putting people and the planet at the heart of what they do. It’s a time to celebrate companies that are committed to balancing profit with purpose, and few places embody that spirit as powerfully as the BDC.

As a certified B Corp, the BDC is more than just an iconic events venue; it’s a hub for innovation, collaboration, and bold sustainability leadership. Having been a certified carbon‑neutral venue since 2010 and the BDC is working with carbon consultants to move from carbon neutral to net‑zero emissions, guided by a reduction plan. We continue to measure and lower our carbon footprint, offsetting any remaining emissions, and publishes an annual Impact Report detailing our progress. As a certified B Corp, the BDC meets high standards of environmental and social performance and integrates sustainability into everyday operations, from supporting its local community to offering sustainable event management services that help organisers reduce environmental impact, with the most recent investment taking place as digital screens in key areas of the venue to reduce the need for physical printing as well as improving the wayfinding and customer experience around the venue.

The commitment takes centre stage this year as the BDC prepares to host edie 26 for the second year in a row, the UK’s longest-running and most impactful sustainable business event. The timing couldn’t be better: B Corp Month is all about showcasing what purposeful business can achieve, and edie 26 brings those values to life on a national scale.

From 25th – 26th March 2026, edie 26 will welcome more than 1,000 sustainability and net‑zero professionals, along with over 170 expert speakers, for two days of climate-focused collaboration at the B Corp-certified venue. The event includes masterclasses, advisory clinics, roundtables, an Innovation Pavilion, and an all-new Collaboration Hub, all designed to turn ambition into action and accelerate climate resilience across industries.

Once again, the BDC will be sponsoring the edie 26 networking drinks to further celebrate B Corp Month and the edie 100 winners. After the first day (25th March), edie attendees can come together for relaxed, purpose-driven conversations, enjoy complimentary sustainable drinks and hear leaders reflect on their net-zero journeys, challenges and successes.

What makes this alignment with B Corp Month so fitting is the shared message: real change requires community. Just as the global B Corp movement empowers organisations to raise their standards and work collectively toward a better future, edie 26 provides a physical space for leaders to connect, problem-solve, and drive progress. It’s not just an event, it’s an activation point for the kind of climate resurgence that B Corp Month celebrates worldwide.

This year’s programme is packed with keynote speakers, hands‑on workshops, and expert-led sessions across multiple themed stages, offering practical insight into climate action, circularity, supply chains, leadership, innovation, and more. And with the BDC’s B Corp values underpinning the event, attendees can expect a space where sustainability is woven into every detail, from venue operations to community engagement.

As B Corp Month invites us all to “go beyond,” the partnership between the BDC and edie 26 offers a perfect example of what that looks like in practice: purpose-driven organisations coming together to spark change, inspire action, and lead the transformation toward a fairer, greener future.

Whether you’re part of a B Corp, aspiring to become one, or simply passionate about sustainable business, this March is the moment to join the conversation, and edie 26 is the place to be.

If you would like to attend edie, the BDC community can buy tickets with a 20% discount using BDC20.
