At the BDC we host a wide variety of events and pride ourselves on being a place for all to feel welcome. Situated in the heart of Angel, our local area is home to a diverse array of people and communities and we always look forward to hosting events that celebrate the diversity and inclusivity that London is known for.  So with that in mind, we thought we would highlight some of our upcoming events that do just that! From the Black Business Show to the Festival of the Girl, here is a list of some of our exciting upcoming events.

The Black Business Show 2023

In celebration of Black History Month, the Black Business Show will be taking place this October. Created to inspire and connect Black business owners and entrepreneurs with rising talent, the event will feature a line up of over 20 keynote speakers,  200 exhibitors, and around 6000 attendees.

Learn the secrets to success from leading Black business men and women across two stages and make some new business connections along the way. From in-depth workshops, informative seminars and fascinating talks, the events programme is full to the brim. Ambitious business professionals will get the chance to present to investors and top level executives on the main stage. While a career panel will allow attendees to get tips on how to excel their careers.

Part of UK Black Business Week, a week-long series of conferences and networking sessions spanning a range of different topics, the event is a place for like minded individuals to share ideas, learn new skills and network with industry leaders. Whether you are a budding entrepreneur, seasoned business owner or aspiring professional looking to raise their profile the show has something for everyone.

Ending with a keynote speech and Q & A session from none other than Dragon’s Den star and Diary of a CEO podcaster Stephen Bartlett, the show is set to be a celebration of Black business excellence. There is even an afterparty for attendees that want to let their hair down or do some late night networking.

The Black Business Show will be taking place this Saturday 7th October 2023 from 9am – 6pm book tickets here. Or if you are a Black business owner looking to showcase your business you can book a stall here.

The Asian-Jewish Business Network (AJBN)

For the first time ever The Asian-Jewish Business Network (AJBN) will be hosting their annual networking event here at the BDC. Founded in 2019, the AJBN was created as a platform for leading business professionals from the Asian and Jewish communities to come together to forge connections and drive growth. Their flagship networking event will feature 80 exhibitors comprised of senior business professionals spanning industries such as finance, property, law, accounting, insurance, marketing, HR, and more.

Providing a vibrant platform for sharing best business practices and encouraging trade, it is the only event of its kind that is building business opportunities between the two communities. This event is set to be a gathering of some of the finest minds in the UK business world with previous notable appearances by leading politicians and business figures.

With a combination of networking opportunities, insightful conversations, and an extensive exhibitor line-up, it promises to be a very exciting event for the Asian and Jewish business communities.
