By day and by night, The Podcast Show demonstrates how events are not only delivering expanded opportunities for attendees but are creating a destination beyond the walls of the venue...

Pre and post-event networking opportunities have seen a significant rise at events, leveraging off-schedule times to foster closer connections with peers. Networking remains key aspect of business events, but what has changed is the way it is done… especially as venues become destinations in their own right and factors such as maximising travel opportunities in the face of sustainability move up the agenda.

Here at the BDC, we pride ourselves on the strong connections we hold with the many local businesses in our vicinity,  promoting them to resident businesses and the events that we host. We’ve enjoyed some great collaborations over the past year, with activations and launches and have become a key player in Angel Islington‘s Marketing & Culture Group.

One event in particular that is really embedding themselves in the community is The Podcast Show; with their “by night” series as they sprawl out across Islington to carry on the day, once the main event at the BDC comes to an end. Here’s some of what’s in store…

The Creator Social – Taking place at The Old Queens Head on Wednesday 21st May and Thursday 22nd May. This is an event open to all delegates for two nights of drinks, music, networking or a place to unwind after the main show.

Drinks ‘n’ Darts – For Platinum & Gold Pass holders only, make sure you RSVP to this event at Flight Club Islington where you could earn the ‘Podartsing World Champion’ title, network and enjoy on Wednesday 21st May from 6.30pm.

Executive Networking Dinner – For Platinum Pass holders only. Add a dinner pass when booking your platinum pass for a three course dinner at Fredericks Islington where you can connect with professionals from across the podcasting industry.

Leaders In Podcasting Networking Breakfasts – Start your day with this exclusive morning gathering for platinum ticket holders at the Fox on the Green and create conversations with fellow industry leaders.
