The path to running a more sustainable business can sometimes feel overwhelming. Where do you even begin?

Kicking off September, we were thrilled to welcome Sustainability Live back to our venue for another fantastic event. And if you couldn’t make it this year, here’s a look at what you missed.
Brought to you by Sustainability Magazine and BizClik Media, Sustainability Live London is an international hybrid event series that connects top level sustainability and ESG leaders, to share insights, spark strategic conversations, and drive collaboration across industries.
Running over two days, the event hosted over 50 acclaimed speakers, 3000 in-person and virtual attendees, 9 workshops and non-stop networking opportunities.
We spoke to Events Media Director, Beckie Jordan, to learn more about this sold out event that’s been going strong for four years.
“It started in 2022 and over the years has grown from strength to strength – audience numbers increasing, high level speakers, and we’ve now won awards,” says Becki on the evolution of the event.
This year was filled with two days of insightful panels, exclusive workshops, inspiring keynotes and a sold-out exhibition floor.
Each workshop saw companies such as Watershed, AWS, Schneider Electric, and Eco Engineers taking to the stage.
“The workshops are attended by 50-100 people, making it a much smaller space, so it’s an opportunity for attendees to be much more dialled in” to the more technical facets of sustainability, Becki tells us.
Different organisations took on topics that suited their specialities, such as Carbmee’s Carbon Intelligence, Watershed on Streamlining Sustainability or DP World’s Implementing sustainability logistics
“These workshops can be presentations where they talk through solutions to problems,open-floor discussions, audience-based activities, or Q&A sessions”, explained Becki.
But the array of workshops was just the tip of the iceberg of this amazing event. Those that explored more would have found some very interesting and interactive exhibitors, from TreeApp that was planting a tree for every attendee and Routezero who were helping visitors choose the most sustainable journey to and from the event from cycling to public transport.

Taking Action
Sustainability Live helps businesses turn big ideas into practical actions. The talks and sessions focus on what really matters for companies today, giving advice that’s easy to understand and apply to their businesses.
This year saw an exciting new addition to proceedings with the BizClik Media’s Innovation Zone. A dedicated space where companies showed off their newest sustainability solutions. Attendees were able to talk directly with the presenters and have insightful discussions with other companies about how they approach sustainability in real life.
A Sustainable Community
“We had more sponsors than ever before,” says Becki, making it a busy treasure trove of new ideas. It’s a chance to see solutions up close and even talk with the people who created them.
Perhaps the most valuable part is the people you’ll meet. This event is a hub for everyone who cares about building better businesses
“It’s been interesting to meet like-minded people by exhibiting at an event focused solely on sustainability”, and that “being in such an intimate space has helped us to be able to speak and network with all the other exhibitors and sponsors,” said Arman Sissengaliyev, Sustainability Services Business Development Manager at SGS.
Kicking off with a lively ‘day zero’ pre-event networking evening and the connections kept on flowing right through to the main event with a spectacular Black Tie awards celebration on the last day. This year was extra special as Sustainability Magazine unveiled its Top 250 Most Sustainable Companies list live at the event, with attendees and exhibitors eagerly anticipating whether their businesses would make the list.
So there you have it, the highlights from Sustainability Live. We couldn’t be more thrilled hosting this event for another year and can’t wait to welcome them back again in 2026.
