In an industry where innovation moves quickly and customer expectations continue to evolve, hospitality buyers are under increasing pressure to stay ahead of trends while making informed purchasing decisions. But discovering new products, comparing suppliers and building relationships often requires significant time and travel.

Could a more collaborative approach be the answer?

A new initiative launching this September at the Business Design Centre (BDC) is bringing together seven established Hospitality, Restaurant and Catering (HoReCa) equipment brands to create a regular destination for hospitality professionals looking to explore the latest products, innovations and ideas. More than just an event, the concept reflects a growing shift towards partnership, accessibility and year-round industry engagement.

HoReCa Open Day - Autumn Edition

The inagural Open Day for the HoReCa community is launching on Tuesday 1st September.

Seven of the most recognisable brands across the tableware, glassware, chef wear and hospitality equipment will join forces to showcase the latest collections and innovations to hospitality operators, distributors, buyers and end users. To round off the day, the venue and participating businesses will host an afternoon and evening drinks reception, providing an additional opportunity for customers, distributors and suppliers to come together in a relaxed setting.

The Power of a Connected Community

Luke Hurst, Property Lettings Manager at the Business Design Centre comments:

"Since our opening as the Business Design Centre in 1986, we have been the place where great ideas and great businesses come together to grow. We are incredibly proud of the thriving community of businesses that call our building home, and of this collaboration between some of the most respected names in the HoReCa equipment sector. By bringing these outstanding brands together under one roof in September and beyond, we are creating an unmissable destination for everyone working in hospitality while demonstrating the power of collaboration within our resident business community"

Richard Vanstone, Nevilles UK’s Head of Independent UK, adds:

“Historically, the HoReCa community would need to visit multiple locations to grasp the breadth of products available across the sector. By joining forces thanks to the support of the Business Design Centre, we’re creating a more efficient and valuable experience for distributors and customers while strengthening collaboration across the industry.”

Following the September launch, the participating businesses will continue the initiative through a programme of free monthly open days, held on the first Wednesday of every month at the BDC. The initiative aims to create a regular opportunity for buyers, distributors and hospitality professionals to discover new products, meet suppliers and stay ahead of market trends.
