The premium mobility provider is to become the venue's first-ever commercial partner, with a new branch opening on-site in late 2026.

London exhibition and event venue Business Design Centre (BDC) has announced a new partnership with car rental company SIXT, officially launching its commercial partnerships programme. The initiative focuses on creating lasting relationships with organisations that share similar goals, while helping to improve the experience for everyone who visits, exhibits, organises events or works at the venue.

The Partnership

The new partnership will see SIXT become the Business Design Centre’s Official Car Rental Partner, providing a high-quality, premium rental service to both B2B and B2C audiences visiting the venue and its surrounding areas, including a diverse mix of event organisers, exhibitors, corporate occupiers and international visitors throughout the year.

As part of the agreement, SIXT is to open a new branch within the venue’s car park – creating a convenient pick-up and drop-off location in central London for visitors, organisers and business tenants – and receive a series of partnership rights to meet their brand and business objectives, including BDC’s high profile outdoor media sites, and branding, digital content and promotion.

Max Bull, Chief Commercial Officer at the Business Design Centre, comments:

"We welcome almost one million visitors each year across more than 150 exhibitions, conferences and events, while also being home to more than 100 businesses. Our aim is to work with organisations whose products and services genuinely enhance the experience of our venue community, and a premium brand like SIXT is a natural fit. The opening of a new on-site branch will provide greater convenience for our customers while helping us deliver even more value to the diverse range of audiences visiting the BDC."

About SIXT

SIXT is well known for its wide selection of premium and luxury vehicles, paired with exceptional service at every touchpoint – from booking to return. This premium experience extends seamlessly into the digital world through the SIXT app, the central platform for managing mobility and bookings. Complementing this is SIXT ONE, the company’s new loyalty programme, rewarding frequent travellers with exclusive benefits and upgrades tailored to their needs.

London venue Business Design Centre announces official commercial partnership with car rental provider SIXT

Founded in Germany in 1912 and now operating more than 2,000 branches across 105 countries including 53 locations across the UK, SIXT brings over a century of expertise and a truly global reach to wherever its customers need to go. In line with the Business Design Centre’s ESG approach, SIXT pursues a sustainability strategy grounded in the idea of sharing mobility instead of owning it – with investment in modern vehicles, charging infrastructure, our mobility platform, and the reduction of CO2 emissions across its sites.

Andrew Smith, Managing Director for SIXT UK, adds:

"The Business Design Centre is one of London's most iconic event venues, and we're proud to be its exclusive car rental partner. Angel Islington is a prime location, and by opening a branch on-site we can offer genuinely convenient, flexible mobility to the venue's visitors, exhibitors, businesses and the wider local community. Whether someone needs a vehicle for onward travel, a day out or a business trip, SIXT will be right there when they need us. We look forward to building a strong and lasting partnership with the BDC."
