BDC London Events - February 2020 Edition
We are looking forward to welcoming back the Rail Infrastructure Networking Event on the 6th February. This is the only free rail infrastructure-networking event that provides opportunities to help your business grow, establish new contacts and reinforce existing relationships. This year, the event has developed to introduce the first Meet the Buyer activity at RIN, focusing on promoting the interests of the rail supply chain and enabling clients to meet with exhibitors and promote the interests of rail supply chain.
The following week, The Growth and Innovation Forum returns on the 11th February. You can expect to connect with top experts, share knowledge and meet directors from fast growing and technology led London listed companies. This is certainly not one to miss!
Coming up next, The Surface Design Show joins the venue on the 11th-13th February. Featuring more than 180 exhibiting companies, dedicated sections for architectural lighting and natural stone. Not to mention, a packed programme including 30 presentations from 50 speakers across the industry! Come along to experience the showcases of the best surface material designs, developments, innovations and manufacturing.
The Royal Television Careers Fair is in the venue on the 12th February. This is an opportunity to gain practical advice on top tips for CV’s, take part in interview masterclasses and learn about the different jobs and schemes in the industry! Don’t miss your chance to network, involve yourself in sessions led by TV experts, engage with 39 exhibitors and expand your knowledge.
The UKAA Expo opens on the 13th! You will be able to connect with other industry professionals including leading developers, agents, investors, owners, consultants and operators. Additionally, explore exhibition stands, attend educational talks and discover the showcase of industry changing products and services aimed at the Build to Rent market.
Next up, on the 16th-17th February, London Edge returns! You will find buyers and suppliers presenting their collections and products including both women and menswear, accessories and footwear. The show focuses on representing the international alternative and lifestyle fashion market to provide a current sales and marketing platform to all relevant businesses. The two-day exhibition is a chance to support the new alternative and explore both emerging and established brands that push the boundaries of fashion!
Shortly after, we are delighted to be hosting the Materials Research Exchange on the 18th-20th February! The two-day conference will showcase the wealth of UK materials research, present ground-breaking new materials, the manufacturing process and investment opportunities. MRE2020, organised by the Knowledge Transfer Network and Innovate UK is set to demonstrate the UK’s excellence in materials research and the significance materials bring to the success of the nation’s economy.
Lastly, we welcome The Stitch Festival from 27th to 1st March. This is the ideal event for all textile craft lovers. There is plenty to discover, with workshops, demonstrations, textile installations and opportunities to learn how master the art of tailoring and knitting!
