London event venue, BDC, has been newly honoured with Superbrand status in the latest 2022/23 listings. This year, more than 3200 brands were assessed across 157 categories for quality, reliability and distinction – the three factors that define a true Superbrand. 2,533 adults voted for the Consumer brands and 2,517 business professionals for the Business brands before the list was verified by a panel of leading marketing experts.
BDC CEO, Dominic Jones, comments:
“This is truly a fantastic accolade to have been selected for. Superbrand status positions the BDC firmly alongside some of the UK’s leading brands and businesses and is a testament to the hard work of the entire BDC team who have been integral to the development of the company’s brand over many years.”
Unlike many industry awards, brands do not pay or apply to be considered. The UK Superbrands annual survey is unique in that it provides a valuable insight into how brands have evolved and been perceived since 1995.
Damon Segal, CEO of Superbrands® UK, notes:
“This year has continued to see monumental changes in the way the businesses are working and have had to adapt. A massive congratulations to all those who continue to capture the hearts and minds of their UK audiences.”
The BDC was awarded Superbrand status in the Conference and Event venues category and follows an especially busy year for the venue, as it welcomed back a full calendar of events, released its environmental commitments to reaching Net-Zero, as well as focusing heavily on its wider ESG strategy.
