Business Design Centre (BDC) is proud to announce that Charlotte Barker has been promoted to Head of Venue Sales following over a decade at the venue.
Starting her career on a placement year from the University of Gloucestershire in 2013, Charlotte quickly demonstrated a passion for event management and returned to the BDC after graduation, as then Conference Executive. Since this time, she has risen through the company, taking on management of the multi-award winning conference department and becoming key to the commercial team, which now sees her promoted to head up sales at the venue.
Charlotte comments,
"I’m incredibly excited to take my next step at the BDC into this new leadership role. The venue is a truly special place and one that I have been lucky to grow alongside, so I am honoured to now lead the very team that has supported me throughout my career. I look forward to working with the wider management in continuing to deliver for our clients and achieve new levels of success."
