LiGHT Expo London is back for the 2025 edition and it is set to illuminate the UK’s design scene again as the country’s only dedicated high-end lighting exhibition.

This year’s edition promises to be the most expansive and inspiring yet, with over 200 top-tier lighting brands and thousands of design professionals from around the world in attendance at the two-day exhibition.

In addition to the familiar architectural and decorative zones, this year will see a brand new area, based in the Gallery Hall; the Technical Zone. The zones were created to navigate the vast array of offerings, and each are tailored to a specific aspect of lighting design:

Architectural Zone

Dedicated to lighting solutions that enhance commercial and hospitality projects, you can expect to see integrated lighting for commercial and residential spaces, smart building systems, human-centric and sustainable lighting technologies from hundreds of international lighting suppliers and brands. See the full list of exhibitors here.

Decorative Zone

Showing the form and flair that lighting can have, this area is a one-stop shop for all decorative lighting.  Whether it’s statement light pieces, luxury fixtures for hospitality and residential interiors, or artistic and bespoke lighting designs. Find out who is exhibiting here.

Technical Zone – New for 2025

A haven for all interested in urban and commercial lighting, exhibitors will be showcasing the latest advancements in control systems, lamps and gear, emergency lighting, components and more. You will see brands such as Hytronik, TM Technologies, ProtoPixel and more.

Beyond the exhibition floor, LiGHT 25 will offer a dynamic program designed to inspire, connect and empower professionals across the lighting industry, you can expect:

[d]arc thoughts – The Talks Programme

There are a number of social events that are perfect for making new connections and catching up with peers:

  • LiGHT Lunch is a relaxed midday gathering with complimentary refreshments, ideal for casual conversations and spontaneous meetings.
  • A welcome drinks reception, will be held on the first evening, bringing together exhibitors, designers and specifiers in a lively, informal setting to celebrate the opening of the show.

LiGHT Work Lounge

This area has been a thoughtfully designed space for focused work, private meetings or quiet reflection. You can find:

  • Comfortable seating and ambient lighting which will create a calm atmosphere away from the show buzz.
  • Meeting pods and collaboration tables are available for scheduled or impromptu discussions.
  • Wi-Fi and charging stations ensure you’re always connected and powered up.

LiGHT Art Installation

Introduced in the 2024 edition, a collaboration with Frankie Boyle, who debuted the captivating Intra-Spectrum, the LiGHT art installation has become a standout feature of the show.

In 2025, a collaboration between lighting visionaries Speirs Major Light Architecture and formalight are bringing together Re: Vision, an immersive installation that will be nothing short of extraordinary.

Re: Vision invites us to explore what we share our planet with, as we rarely pause to consider how differently each species perceives the world. Re: Vision invites us to explore one aspect of that diversity: Colour Perception. Through custom spectral lighting and reimagined Ishihara test patterns, the installation offers a rare glimpse into how colour is experienced across species. It will challenge us to step beyond the limits of our own perception and reimagine how we design.

LiGHT 25 isn’t just an exhibition, it is a celebration of innovation, creativity and connection in the world of lighting design. With thoughtfully curated zones, inspiring talks and networking opportunities, there is something for everyone in the lighting community. Make sure you register for your free ticket today and attend the gateway to the future of light.
