First things first!

We have a few must-reads for you below. These highlight our Health and Safety practices and must be shared with your exhibitors so they can familiarise themselves with the venue.

We are proud members of the Association of Event Venues (AEV), who provide guidance, advice and insight through their e-guide, which we have adopted. From build-ups and breakdowns, to signage, crowd management and more, this guide has everything you need to know.

You can also have a chat with your Venue Services Manager about our Online Ordering System, and they will get your event set up and ready to share. This system will allow your exhibitors to order our stand services easily and efficiently.

Your blank canvas...

It’s floorplanning time! Have a look at our floorplan templates to get an idea of the Mezzanine, Village Green, Gallery Bay, Gallery Hall and Conference Centre spaces to help you in planning your next steps. Your assigned Venue Services Manager will help you create your personalised event floorplan.

Sustainability

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do at the BDC. We are proud to be a B Corp Certified organisation and have been a CarbonNetural® certified venue since 2010. Now we’re setting our sights on an even more ambitious goal: becoming Net Zero by 2030 and we want you to be part of that journey.

To support this mission, we’ve developed a comprehensive Sustainability Guide for you as an organiser and your attendees. This covers everything from working with our onsite suppliers and making eco-conscious signage choices, to reporting best practices and offering advice for reducing your event’s environmental impact.

Following your event, we can provide a Post Show Environmental Impact Report, detailing key metrics such as waste levels and energy consumption, helping you understand and improve your sustainability performance.

For further guidance, please reach out to Chris Harris (details above). You can view our Sustainability Initiatives on our website or watch our latest video update on our progress.
